Offshore & Energy

Creating new value in the ocean through technological excellence and extensive experience.

The Offshore & Energy Business Unit of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries provides comprehensive solutions for fixed and floating equipment used in offshore oil and gas production. These projects cover the full lifecycle—from engineering and procurement to construction, transportation, installation, and commissioning. To date, we have successfully delivered over 170 projects to more than 80 clients worldwide.

Beyond project execution, we are pursuing renewable energy business initiatives in keeping with global trends in energy transition and decarbonization. We supply floaters and offshore substation equipment for domestic and international offshore wind power projects, led by both government entities and leading global power providers. Our growing portfolio of renewable energy businesses includes small modular reactors (SMR), carbon capture and storage (CCS), and the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) initiative.

With advanced infrastructure—including a 10,000-ton floating crane, two 1,600-ton Goliath cranes, and a 1 million-ton dry dock—combined with proven technology and deep expertise, we deliver integrated solutions across various business areas. We are fully committed to enhancing construction capabilities and quality to maximize customer satisfaction.
